Excellent talk !👏
When religion was banned under Communism that was not so great either. Religious ethics provides guidelines for right behavior. There is also free will. Some people behave rightly and some do not. There is no reason to believe that Secular Humanism could have everyone behave rightly, especially if they believe that no higher intelligence is present and aware of their mis-deeds. That Humanism would bring about a perfect world is a fantasy.
The less views and likes on videos exhibits the current mentality of people in india..such scientific stories deserves milliins of praise but its unfortunate that most of the people is engrossed in useless things
I am going throgh Statistics and probablity and Linear algebra for my Machine Learning course, there I encontered Mahalanobis distance so I wanted to learn more about such great scientist so I search youtube .. Thankfull to youtube's algo that redirect me to this video . Such a great talk Prof !!! Thanks

Great to see you again delivering fascinating lectures...
Yet another ATS academic trying to make it look like science supports. His godless evolution were a view. L o l twentieth century science destroyed both atheism and evolution. There are 250000 different molecular machines driven by prescriptive functional algorithmic linguistic semiotic. Functional information in the cell pegood biology is information processing technology. Driving machinternet. we are designed. Period. It's a nineteenth century Mythology VS 20th century science. that's A. Yes, we're correct all the way along. Our great-great-grandchildren will be taught. Intelligent design and school. evolution is over with.. academics are slowly coughing it up soon. It will be taken from their cold dead Hands. The coming two or three generations of mankind will put evolutionary as a footnote
I like and appreciate the touch of Indian music into this.....Jayawewa.
That cat thing was hilarious. great talk

Coyneis a horrible person who supports genocide and ethnic cleansing. He must be the most secterian and dogmatic ‘professor’ of biology
Neutron decay Cosmology The path of least action, physical process solution to black hole paradoxes, dark energy, dark matter and critical density maintenance. A homeostatic universe maintained via the reciprocal processes of electron capture at event horizons and free neutron decay in deep voids. Gravity causes flows of matter to maximal density, an event horizon. Because of electron capture ONLY neutrons contact event horizons. They drop off their kinetic energy (neutron accelerating at c) as mass for the event horizon. The "Hamiltonian" takes an EinsteinRosen bridge from highest energy pressure conditions to lowest energy density point of space. (This end of the bridge moves) A deep void somewhere. There the neutron soon decays into amorphous monatomic hydrogen. Dark matter. Proton/electron soup. Cross section 10-³¹ barn or so. The decay from neutron 0.6fm³ to 1m³ of amorphous hydrogen gas is a volume increase of 10⁴⁵ or so. Expansion. Dark energy. In time this soup stabilizes into first monatomic hydrogen, still difficult to spot, and then H2 and all the other things. Continually falling towards an event horizon. The Hubble Doppler is a geometric artifact. It is the curvature in spacetime we should expect from the mass of the universe around us, expressed in the only dimension available, frequency. Consider a sheet of structural color. The frequency dependent on the spacing of elements. Now drape this over a parabolic curve. The center (observer) will notice that because of the curve the frequency of the light lowers increasingly with distance. Yet a more local dent/perforation will still locally have blue shift towards gravity/dent Neutron decay cosmology 🖖
This is actually super interesting talks!
A great video! Dr. Satish Dhawan is one of my top favorite people in the world. We went to the same university. Thanks to Indian Academy of Sciences. I have heard of the organization. Only 3k views, 7 comments, likes for such a great effort! I hope people are busy with highly productive work. All the best to India and her people!
❤Sd 🎉We are proud to be a Aeronautical Engineering fellows. Love You professor. We Hope your soul guide us to be a Good Technologist & Nationalist
I feel honoured to have met this great man Satish Dhawan many years back. That was year 1980. I was working as a Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax in Bangalore. As a part of official duty, we were required to issue various statutory notices. Dr Dhawan applied for a clearance certificate regarding succession to his ancestral properties. As usual a notice for hearing was issued, which were normally being complied with by an advocate. One day while at work, my office people brought a visiting card, telling me that the cardholder has come to see me. While reading the card, I was thrilled to find that it was Dr Satish Dhawan himself. I left my chair and received him personally at the entrance gate of my chamber. I brought him inside, made him sit in the corner sofa of my room, ordered coffee. I attended to what was requested by him. On the next occasion, he again came himself, this time with his wife, a nice lady herself. After finishing the official matter, they invited me to their house which I gratefully accepted. In addition to being a great scientist, he was a fine gentleman. So was his wife, an elegant lady with a charming personality. I never expected that a person of his status would appear in person. I remember our meeting with great pride and pleasure.
Beautiful presentation
Very interesting and informative. Provides guidance toyounger generation how to succeed. ❤

Super informative ....👍
Remembering your father Jyotsna, his life's work at ISRO played a critical role that has led to today's ISRO. My father was a dear friend of the Dhawan family from Lahore days, would have been ever so proud of how your dad's work at ISRO has culminated in India's present-day success. Also remembering dear Jeet Uncle who was closer to my father's age. Cheers to you for this tribute, it puts into context just how vital SD's contribution has been to India's global success.
Today, 25/08/2023, it is two days since Prof. Rao's demise at the age of 102. (In another two weeks he would have turned 103.) My humble pranaam to an outstanding scientist, academician, teacher, and institution builder. Your example will always be a beacon light for all of us!
Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing such wonderful information!! Very impressive, and eloquently presented.

Great work
Well done sir
very informative presentation sir.
The ques. then is does the lang. which hides inequality & hierarchy is any good with dealing them ? From my perspective utalitarian claim of equality = good is debatable hence modern liberalism thinkers have shifted away from equality to equity. If Sanskrit is responsible for inequality & hierarchy then how come it has texts like Vajrasuchi Upanishad, Apastambha Dharmasutra etc. ? The only reason acc. to me why Sanskrit has texts which affirms hierarchy & inequality was because scholars who wrote these texts were emanashed in regional Royal hierarchies {either as royal actors or as donor recepients etc.} so they tried to balanced these via tales of conflicting narratives of 'Dharm Sankat' instead of resorting to one side or another to create a single dominant framework of 'State'.
i bow to thee oh brahma !!
Thank you sir. Helped me a lot
the number of ways in which Jerry Coyne is completely incoherent is mindboggling.
Jerry does not hold back on religion.
